I lost some weight, not by choice though

Okay truth be told it couldn't have been more than a couple of ounces, if it was even that. On Wednesday I went to the emergency department at the hospital with pretty bad pain in my stomach area, especially on the right side. It started in the morning, but got worse, and worse. So despite my heroic efforts to try and ignore the pain, I went to the hospital. After much poking and proding by both doctors and nurses, they took some blood from me, and it came back that I needed my appendix out. For many of you this might not seem like such a big deal, but you have to understnad for me this was huge. I have never had surgery before, for that matter, I haven't even had a broken bone. So needless to say this was a little nerve racking for me. Anyways, I called my parents, and Marleah to let them know the news. Both my parents and Marleah headed down to the hospital to visit before I went in for surgery, but neither made it in time. So Marleah was there when I woke back up, and needless to say , I was quite groggy. So I managed to recover much quicker than they all thought I would, in fact I was up and walking around the night of the surgery, the nurses were quite surprised to say the least and I was released about 12 hours after the surgery started. I am once again reminded of just why hospital food is so horrible, IT HAS NO TASTE. Anyways, I am well on the road to recovery now, a little tender but not bad at all.
